Established in 1985 with the approval of the Turkish Ministry of National Education and having begun its educational activities, the Terbay Makina Izmir Vocational Training Center in Bornova has contributed to the development of young people by providing training in machining and welding to more than 2,000 students to date. Students under the age of 18 who have completed middle school participate in a program consisting of 4 days of hands-on training and 1 day of theoretical instruction. Upon graduating at the end of the 4-year program, they contribute to production either within Terbay or in various other industries.
