Terbay Makina Industry and Trade Inc., one of Izmir's well-established industrial companies, celebrated its 70th anniversary while setting goals to expand into international markets, upgrade its machinery park, and pursue new investments. Abdullah Baysak, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Terbay, highlighted that 95% of the company’s total revenue of 36 million euros in 2023 came from exports. He also drew attention to the contraction in the European market and projected a revenue of 32 million euros for 2024.
Terbay Makina celebrated its 70th anniversary with an event held in the factory garden. Cemal Tercan, a veteran businessman, industrialist, and one of the founders of Terbay, was the guest of honor at the event. Addressing Terbay's management and employees, Tercan said, “You are the ones who elevate Terbay and give it meaning; we love you. I am happy that you made this moment possible for me. Our goal is not only to produce but also to contribute to society."
